They charged me the annual fee of $250 plus a bogus $9.33 credit protection charge and closed my account within two months. I was never late on a payment, and the generic letter they sent didn't provide a reason why.

I actually had a $215 overpayment that they said would take 45 days to return to me via check. Their customer service is horrible; I couldn't understand the customer service representative. There were long wait times on hold. Moreover, they couldn't tell me why they closed the account, thus damaging my credit score.

They said they couldn't disclose the reason over the phone and that it was stated in the letter they sent me. However, it was a generic letter that only provided possible scenarios for why accounts may be closed, none of which applied to me.

What did you expect from a card that charges 35.9% interest? Your credit must have been garbage if you had to take out a card like this.

I applied for a credit card and had to lift the freeze on my credit report. Afterward, it instructed me to inform someone when the task was completed.

I called three times and did as prompted, pressing #1 for a recording which announced that this was a Debt Collector and the call was being recorded. I talked to a representative and informed him that they need to change their message, as it has nothing to do with a credit card.

Worst credit card company of all time .

I wish I could give them a negative rating, I truly would. I got the card in an attempt to rebuild my credit.

I was excited when I saw they gave me a 1,000 dollar limit. I got the card, logged on after I activated it, and noticed I was at an 800 dollar credit. They deducted the 200 dollar annual fee immediately after sending the card; already strike one. Sometimes, when I pay people on Venmo, I use my bank and sometimes my credit card.

I paid two people using my card. And when I went to use that card again two weeks later on Venmo, it declined. When I looked online, it said I had money; what is going on? I got a letter in the mail stating that your account has been closed due to suspicious fraudulent payment activity.

I was thinking, do they think Venmo is fraudulent? I called customer service and, unsurprisingly, the gentleman could barely speak English. But he literally offered no explanation. First, he said it was because of a returned payment.

I said I never missed one payment. Then he said it was a return item returned back to the card. I responded, that makes no sense. Are they flagging a refund I got from Walmart as fraudulent?

Then he put me on a ten-minute hold. When he got back on, he wouldn't say anything other than reading what was in the letter over and over. I asked for a supervisor. A supervisor came on, and guess what?

She repeated the same response the previous man did over and over again.

So now my account is closed, and I’ll never know why and my credit will be hurt by this. Truly, these are the worst people I have ever had to deal with.

If it says payment posted it should be available when posted. Not be held for up to 14 days. Have never heard of this on a posted payment.

Hacked

The payment to Milestone showed up in my bank account. Luckily, I didn't have that much and the payment was denied.

I called Milestone, my account was hacked, and I can't get into the website. They say it's the only way to make any changes to my account, but now I have to wait for instructions in the mail to change my account back.

They won't do anything over the phone. I canceled the card.

I researched this card.. i was having credit issues was surprised and amazed i was approved with no security deposit.

People complain about fees, no cash backs, no instinctives, no rewards. Ok all those benefits are for the people with good credit who can get approved for those better cards. This card is a stepping stone. So use it as such and it will help u get better cards.

Plus i read complaints of the 14 day hold for payment to be posted. I simply ask what amount DOESN'T need a 14 day hold . And was told up to 50 can be posted within 24 hrs.

So to make my 300$ payment i just paid 50 a day and after i seen it post paid another and my full 300 was posted in 6 days. You have to figure a way around everything

Didn’t get anything resolved

Keep getting charged a fee of 5.00 when account been closed for 6 months. I called and they stated we will make sure this wont happen again and here we are back on my credit report. Cannot get ahold of anyone now and I cant wait till I do.

Preferred solution: Have my card completely canceled as it was supposed to be 6 months ago and stop getting 5.00 late fees on my credit report for the 2nd time after they stated they were taking care of it.

User's recommendation: When cancelling your card 6 months ago you should not still be having a late fee show up on your credit account when everything has been completely paid off for more then 6 months. 5.00 keeps showing up as late charge every 3 months they say they will make sure it won’t happen again and here we go again.

This company charges high fees up front and then does not post your payments appropriately. My account is always paid and is paid early but they refuse to post the payment and available credit to your account for over 14 days even though your bank has processed payment immediately.

They deliberately hold those funds for 15 days so if you have automatic payments set up, they will be declined.

Farmed out customer service with very poor English that can do nothing but read from a script and in response to my complaint the second poor English speaking person finally broke from her script and wanted to discuss the interest charges which had nothing to do with why I had called.

Dont waste your time with this company. There are other better companies which I have cards with so I will be closing this account.

It sounds like you carry a large balance on your card and the only available credit you ever have is when your payment gets credited.

Milestone complicit if you are victim of a "fraud Milestone email".

I received a shady email representing themselves as Milestone. I called the actual Milestone to inform them of the email address (called Dec 11th approx 10:42 am).

The agent on phone was difficult to understand, rude, and hung up on me. She basically stated they don't take fraud information. She added that she could not transfer me to anyone who would take the information. I was instructed to (do the leg work of) contacting the credit bureau, reporting, getting a number, calling Milestone back, then she could transfer me.

Who has that kind of time? I don't even have time to write this review. I called back, put on hold, disconnected. I finally reached a mgr.

I basically told him I have the scammer's e-mail, tick tok link, address which somehow got attached to email. He was very nice, but said similar information.

I told him they need to change rules. If Milestone won't even give me their email, so I can forward this scam, then they are complicit in the next victim getting their identity stolen.
